Bozhena Korchynska, Longitudinal Flute (Sopilka), Lviv
Olha Shadrina-Lychak, Harpsichord, Kyiv
Join us for a concert featuring Bozhena Korchynska, a sopilka player and researcher, and Olha Shadrina-Lychak, a harpsichordist and head of the Early Music Department at the National Music Academy of Ukraine. This program, specially prepared for the festival, showcases music by Czech composers of the Galant style, whose works are rarely heard in Ukraine. Enjoy compositions by František Benda, Josef Mysliveček, and Johann Baptist Vanhal, along with pieces by Rameau and Bortniansky, reimagined in a fresh context that highlights the cultural dialogues among European nations.
