Kyiv Baroque Fest – 2024 Festival Opening

 

Jean Rondeau is a leading figure in early music and a talented harpsichordist who skillfully performs on various keyboard instruments. His captivating performance style leaves a lasting impression from the very first encounter, as he combines intense expressiveness and creative energy with a profound understanding of early music. At the festival's opening, Jean Rondeau will present a program of celebrated harpsichord pieces from the French harpsichord tradition of the 17th and 18th centuries, showcasing its distinct and evocative character.
